About Killer Whales
Located in Pittsburgh, PA, the Fox Chapel Killer Whales is a non-profit competitive swim club registered with Allegheny Mountain Swimming, a division of USA Swimming.
We offer first-class, year-round swim programs for young children through adults: KW Swim School for children taking their first strokes, our KW Jr. Whales for rising swimmers, KW Swim Team for competitive swimmers, and the Flying Fish Heads for masters swimmers.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Fox Chapel Killer Whales is to provide an athlete-centric, community-based swim program built on the foundation of team unity and integrity that inspires swimmers of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds to achieve their maximum potential. We strive to develop core values of a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and high self-esteem. We are committed to providing an environment that is safe, inclusive, and supportive of all athletes, coaches, and volunteers.

Pool Locations
The home-base of the Killer Whales is the Fox Chapel High School pool. Depending on the swim season and the swim program, we also hold practices at various indoor and outdoor pools around the area.

Safe Sport Policies
Fox Chapel Killer Whales Swimming is committed to safeguarding its athletes and abides by USA Swimming’s Safe Sport program – a comprehensive abuse prevention program to keep kids safe, including required policies and best practice guidelines; mandatory screening, including criminal background checks and employment screening; training and education; monitoring, supervision, and mandatory reporting.

Financial Support
Please review our Financial Support information. If your family qualifies, you may be eligible to receive financial support with travel meet reimbursements, a reduced USA Swimming Membership fee, meet entry fee reimbursements, and reduced tuition for AMS-sponsored camps.
